A native of Lawrence County, Dr. Julie has always had a heart for animals. She grew up showing Quarter Horses and enjoyed 4-H for many years. In 1985, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University.
Julie and Brian then opened the Animal Care Clinic. For a while, she took a hiatus from daily practices in order to home school their two children. When she returned to full time practice, she brought additional training and certification in Medical Veterinary Acupuncture to the practice, as well as Traditional Chinese Veterinary Herbal Therapies. Dr. Julie loves the opportunity to share her passion for acupuncture and herbal treatment options with her patients.
