I was raised in Loogootee Indiana. I never had any siblings, and animals were always my best friends and play mates. I was always bringing home animals that I found that needed care. I was able to turn this passion into a career by studying veterinary medicine. I graduated from Purdue University with a bachelors in animal science. I then went on an adventure to veterinary school by attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Ross University is located on the island of St. Kitts and Nevis, in the West Indies. I graduated from Ross University in 2018. Since then I have been practicing small animal medicine. During this time I felt that I needed to do more for my patients. This has led me to continue my education at the Chi Institute for acupuncture. I am very excited to start this journey to continue my education in Eastern medicine.

I still reside in Loogootee with my husband Jared. We have a large family of dogs, cats, goats and donkeys. In our spare time we enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking and traveling. Our favorite places to travel are Maine and North Carolina. We also volunteer our time at our local humane society, where we have adopted some of our animals from.
